How Polar Bear Attacked A Woman In Berlin Zoo (+18 video)

A polar bear attacked a woman at Berlin Zoo Friday afteroon after she climbed a fence and jumped into its habitat during feeding time, police said Saturday. One adult polar bit her several times after she plunged into the moat, police said.

 Zoo workers tossed rescue rings toward the woman to hoist her out and distract polar bears swimming nearby, said Goerg Gebhard, a Berlin police officer. At one point the woman fell back into the water and was grabbed by a bear before she was eventually hoisted to safety. "They saved her life," Gebhard told CNN. 

It's unclear why the woman entered the bear habitat, but police issued her a citation for trespassing. Berlin Zoo is home to Knut, the first polar bear to be born there in over 30 years. SEE VIDEO BELOW.....

The 29-year-old Lagos-born actress, living in a happy marriage with her hubby Prince Odianosen Okojie since August 2011, is expecting her second child and is said to be in her second trimester.

It would be recalled, however, that soon after delivery of her first baby girl, Purity, in the end of 2012 Mercy returned to acting.

Hopefully another break won’t be long, as one can hardly imagine the modern Nollywood without Mercy’s name in it.

Girl Reveals: The Things Guys I Met On Social Media Did To Me

Ladies should really be careful. Not all guys you meet on the social media are genuine, especially now that too many chatting services are springing up here and there. Rough guys are taking advantage, shine you eyes.
Following her nasty experience in the hands of guys, a young lady, Elizabeth John Adie, has given oral evidence about how she was gang-rapéd by a group of men she met through a social networking site, 2GO.

According to her, the guys picked her in an ash colour vehicle with unknown registration number to Aso B area where they threatened her with knives, searched her handbag and took her two blackberry phones, cash of N8,000 and other foreign currencies, before raping her...

The case was mentioned at the Upper Area Court, Mararaba Gurku, Nasarawa State. One of the accused, 22-year-old Agbo Emmanuel, a school certificate holder has been in police detention since the incident occurred but was brought to court on February 11, charged with criminal conspiracy, intimidation, extortion, causing hurt and rape, all contrary to sections 97, 397, 292, 244, and 283 of the Penal Code Laws of Nigeria.

According to the police First Information Report, the victim reported at the ‘A’ Division Police Station, in the Mararaba area of Nasarawa, close to Abuja state on February 1, 2014, that on the same day at about 13:30hrs at Aso B, one Agbo Emmanuel and three others, Bright Ochigbon, Junior Udewenga and Anita, now at large, conspired and deceived her through the 2GO social network.

Elizabeth said after taking the items from her, the rough guys went ahead to rapé her in turns, adding that she had tried to resist but was cut with a knife by one of them on her right finger. The case continues.

Stella Damasus Blasts Critics Over Chibok Missing Girls

Few hours ago, Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau released a video showing the abducted girls in an undisclosed bush, promising to exchange them for arrested Boko Haram members held in custody by Nigerian security forces.

The video also played down claims that the whole kidnap saga of the missing Chibok girls, which has spurred worldwide protests, was just a political gimmick and hoax.


Stella Damasus, who was insulted sometimes ago when she protested the unlawful imprisonment of the young girls by the terrorist group, has now come out to slam her critics.

She fumed at those who called her names, asking, “where [are] all the cowards, ignorant, uneducated and uniformed twerps who went on a rampage to insult me and tell me how stupid I was for talking about the Chibok girls?

“Where are those that have been leaving comments and calling me names? Those that were trying to prove that the whole thing was a hoax and [that] I was spreading lies. I hope you have seen the latest released video of Boko Haram and you have heard their demands. Maybe now you will wake up and join the campaign. #BringBackOurGirls"

At a briefing this evening with newsmen in Abuja following the release of a new video by Boko Haram showing kidnapped Chibok girls, spokesperson of the State Security Service (SSS), Ms Marilyn Ogar said the man in the video claiming to be Abubakar Shekau is not really Abubakar Shekau, that the real Shekau who is believed to have founded the dreaded sect, is dead
"Boko Haram has become a franchise, anybody can assume and lay claim to any name. What I know is that the original Abubakar Shekau is dead; the person claiming to be the national leader now is not the original Abubakar Shekau. If security sources tell you that somebody is dead, you don't have to come out and doubt that" she said

After all the drama, foreign military experts including a top United States General, David Rodriguez, have arrived in Nigeria to assist the federal government in the rescue of the abducted Chibok female students.

Rodriguez became the third commander of US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) in Stuttgart, Germany, on April 5, 2013. The US Africa Command is one of six unified geographic combatant commands within the Department of Defence unified command structure. 

A native of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Rodriguez earned his commission from the US Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1976.

A military source who sought anonymity disclosed this to LEADERSHIP in Abuja on Monday.

Rodriguez has commanded at every level while his previous assignment was Commanding General of the US Army Forces Command. The renowned general’s additional commands include the International Security Assistance Force – Joint Command (IJC) in Afghanistan; the 82nd Airborne Division; 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division; and 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). 

He also commanded companies in 75th Ranger Regiment and 1st Armoured Division.

American Soldiers Arrive Nigeria To Flush Out Boko Haram

Following the approval of President Barack Obama for the deployment of US Marines to the troubled Nigeria for the search and rescue of over 200 school girls kidnapped by the dreaded Boko Haram sect, the troops are in Nigeria to help the country’s security services tackle increasing threats.

They are described in Wikipedia as “an amphibious, expeditionary, air-ground combined arms task force, capable of forcible entry from the air, land, and sea. It is capable of asymmetric warfare with conventional, irregular, and hybrid forces. 

While the Marine Corps does not employ any unique combat arms, as a force it can rapidly deploy a combined-arms task force to almost anywhere in the world within days.”

Nigeria is playing host to the 7th World Economic Forum Africa in Abuja amid heightened security challenges. The summit is expected to be attended by over 10 heads of state and government as well as over 900 delegates from 70 countries. Presidents of Algeria, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Mali Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania and Togo have confirmed attendance.

Former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and former President of Brazil, Lula da Silva, are expected to attend. Also, over 50 chief executives of big global corporations have confirmed attendance. However, because of recent blasts in Nyanya – on the outskirts of Abuja – there have been heightened fears of a possible terror attack during the summit.

Nigerian government has been assuring the world that it would provide maximum security, announcing a
complete shut-down of schools and government offices during the summit. 6,000-strong Nigerian security operatives, made up of soldiers and other security agents, have been deployed in Abuja – the heaviest security for a summit in Nigeria.

For now, the US marines will first train Nigerians soldiers. The marines are highly specialised soldiers who have been deployed in areas affected by serious conflict and terrorism, such as Afghanistan and Iraq.

Nigerian Immigration Officers Harass Davido At Lagos Airport

Sensational Nigerian music star, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke is not happy with the way he missed his flight to London all because of corruption that has eaten deep into the blood of many Nigerians, especially those at airports.
The singer was supposed to have been on his way to London or probably there by now if not for some officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service, who according to Davido, harassed him for money at the airport.


Davido took to Instagram on Thursday and wrote ‘missed my flight to London! pissed! F*ckin immigration officers always harassing me because of money!! F*ck ni*gas.’

THIS IS SAD: Two Of The Abducted School Girls Are Dead

The troubles of the families of the abducted 234 girls have been made worse:

An intermediary of Boko Haram has claimed that two of the girls abducted by the Abubakar Shekau-led sect have died from snakebite while 20 others are critically ill. This shocking news has come as a blow to millions of Nigerians and people from around the world who have joined the BringBackOurGirls movement, demanding the release of the schoolgirls in good condition.

In a televised media chat on Sunday, President Goodluck Jonathan said that an encouraging bit of news so far was the fact that there had been no report of loss of lives. Unfortunately, that has changed now.

One of the parents of the abducted girls, Ms Martha Yarama Ndirpaya, in her interview with the Hausa service of the (BBC) has accused the federal government of being insensitive to the plight of the girls and its slow pace of rescuing them from the heartless abductors.

The Associated Press (AP) reports that the girls are in bad shape. The unfortunate issue now is that all parent whose daughters are with Boko Haram are now confusion, as they are wondering and praying that the girls that have died are not theirs. Who will help the situation and #BringBackOurGirls?

If the Christian community is not divided by doctrine and the we-are-better-than-you attitude, if Christendom has love Boko Haram cannot keep destroying lives especially the life of Christians as easy as a walk in the park. This heartless group of Monsters started by bombing churches while people were worshiping their God then moved on to other locations, now they are back to dealing with Christians as the released Chibok abducted girls’ list shows that 90% of the girls are Christians.


It is heart breaking to see this evil group continuously mess with the church, the body of Christ, the anointed of God! It is more annoying when one remembers that this is a country blessed with over 10 world class heavy weight spiritual champions like Papa Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, T.B Joshua, Chris Oyakhilome, who can just speak and this group will go into extinction!

By a prophet God saved Israel and by a Prophet he preserved them. Where are the Prophets in Nigeria? We need our Prophets to arise and preserve this nation. We need our Prophets to speak the word of God over Nigeria.

SOLUTION:

The solution here is, these men of God should call for a non-denominational just one night Virgil under one roof to pray for Nigeria. Imagine a Virgil with E.A Adeboye, Chris Oyakhilome, Bishop Oyedepo, T.B Joshua, Tunde Bakare, the Catholic Church, all the men of God in Nigeria gathered under one roof with their members to call upon God to step into the Nigerian situation? It will shake this nation. It will shatter all the chains holding the progress and unity of Nigeria.

CHALLENGES:

The challenge here is the question the Bible asked, “Can two work together except they agree?” this is the one billion naira question. How can these Spiritual War Lords throw their differences behind and do the needful? How can other Pastors who are CAN members agree to work with the likes of T.B Joshua and Chris Oyakhilome who are not? Who will make the first move? Who will take it upon himself to unite the Nigerian part of the body of Christ? Can the President of CAN, Pastor Oritsejafor do what the challenge of today demands?

Who is asking God for the solutions of the Nigerian problems? There is a reason why this happening mostly to the Christian community, it is time for the Lions to roar!

PLEASE COULD THE REAL LIONS STAND UP AND ROAR, BOKO HARAM IS KILLING GOD’S CHILDREN!
